Children’s Workshops

Introduction to the sense of smell to awaken creativity. A fun and creative workshop associating colours, smells and images. An educational workshop on the discovery of CHANEL N°5, with activities to help develop the olfactory memory.

Activities during the workshop

An awakening of the 5th sense. Guessing game on fruit and an explanation of the link between the sense of smell and the brain

An understanding of common smells in daily life, and the association of a smell to a memory

Discovering the 6 key elements that make up CHANEL N°5 through a Lotto game of smells

An artistic activity to express CHANEL N°5 through drawings

3 days a week, on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays
3 sessions a day: 1pm/3pm/5pm – lasting 1 hour
Age: 8 to 13 years unaccompanied
Groups of 10 to 12 children maximum

SCHOOL HOLIDAY MAY 6TH TO MAY 12TH: workshops everyday, 3 times a day, except Tuesday when museum closed.

Discover N°5’s composition and its key ingredients and participate in experiments to help understand fragrance’s olfactory pyramid

The art of wearing fragrance

An open discussion to learn about our relationship to fragrance

MULTI-MEDIA LIBRARY
An open-access consultation space is provided so visitors may extend their visit.

A poetic appreciation of the 7 components which make up N°5: Ylang-ylang, vanilla, sandalwood, aldehydes, rose, jasmine, hesperidia.

Books on artists featured in the exhibition, the perfume and the world of CHANEL.

Tactile tablets offering documentary films on N°5, its basic components and some production secrets.

AUDIO GUIDE AND BOOKLET

Discover N°5 CULTURE CHANEL exhibition at your own pace by listening to the recorded commentary on the audio guide. Selected artworks are highlighted and given an in-depth analysis. The audio guide is available in English and French and will be provided at no charge upon deposit of valid ID. An accompanying booklet is offered in English and French at the entrance to the exhibition.
